The object of the game is to sing along to various tracks through a microphone, filling up the bars onscreen by singing on-key to accumulate points. The better players perfom, the quicker they'll accrue points. After completing a song, players will be assigned an award which may range from the Rotten Tomato to the Golden Disc depending on perfomance. The game also has a running points total where players are rewarded for getting right pitch right with their voices, as well as holding notes out for the right amount of time, throughout each song. Players will also have the opportunity to practice their vocal skills by opting for singing lessons, where the game aims to turn them into professionals. The game can be played with friends and family with a large number of multiplayer games in the Versus mode, Blind mode (Where lyrics are hidden) and First to X where players will compete against each other to earn a set amount of points.
