Situated in the merciless and brutal arenas of ancient Rome, Tournament of Legends embraces ancient mythology and brings a 3D fighting encounter for 1 or 2 players. In Legends, there are ten playable mythological characters such as the Minotaur, an almighty Gladiator, a viscious Valkyrie and other familiar personalities who each have their own distinctive reason for embarking on a journey of vengence against Thanatos, the game's most villainous scoundrel. In single player mode, every character will tell thier own unique story sequence revealing their past and relationship to Thanatos to uncovering a dramatic ending if you are able to defeat him.

Tournament of Legends features furious fights in amazing combat arenas where gamers are armed with mythical blade weapons, unleash forty magic assaults, and avoid huge mythological beasts that safeguard their battle lairs. Each of the levels you play through has a special guardian that's unique to that environment. In exteme 1 and 2 player battles, players will need to perfect their fighting skills in a variety of character and weapon based magic attacks; including releasing a man eating lion, Jupiter's Storm, Thor's Fury and a pit of poisonous snakes.

Legends is played with a Wii remote and nunchuk, with the remote controlling the weapon in your right hand and the nunchuk controlling the weapon or shield in your left hand. The game also features an Interactive Training mode and provides support for the classic control system. Tournament of Legends features some of the most eye-catching visuals on the Wii with fluid character animations and special attacks in environments that are filled with extensive detail.
