Join Mario and the characters from the Mushroom Kingdom once again in Mario Sports Mix on Wii, Mario style! With a long history as a sportsman in games such as Mario Tennis, Golf and Go Karting to name a few, developers of the game, Square Enix, bring you another collection of varied sports games to include: volleyball, basketball, ice hockey and dodgeball all on one disc. Mario Sports Mix presents these familiar sports games with a few twists such as special items that stir up the madness and entertainment. Also, each character can also unleash his or her unique special signature move that ranges from Mario's fire dunk in basketball, Yoshi's rainbow attack in dodgeball or Princess Peach's heart-filled attacks. Power-ups will include things like a Mini Mushroom to shrink the volleyball before it crosses the net. In the field of play, a range of pranks ensure players keep their wits about them. On DK Dock, the volleyball court will continuously slide to left and right. On Bowser Jr. Blvd, the basketball court has bonuses in the form of circles that often appear, bringing both positive and negative bonuses that result in extreme point swings.
