Sing It Mode
In Sing It mode using a microphone, players will have the option to sing along to their chosen song, or sing in Karaoke mode to the backing music with the artist’s voice on mute giving themselves a chance to shine. This mode features 3 difficulty levels and the game is scored using pitch detection. An added bonus is the Encore button that appears and will allow you to playback your last performance.
Party Play is where things really start hotting up. Players can select the following modes: Duet, Competition, Performance, Team Play, Pass the Mic, Sing-Off, and Karaoke. In Party Mode, friends and family will be able to sing along simutaneously. In the new Sing Off mode, two groups with up to eight players can go head to head in a huge sing-off. Players can split into 2 groups collectively, singing competitively against each other - the group with the highest points will become the winners. Performance mode can be played with one or more players where you sing along with the videos – with no on-screen help or scoring! This is for those who really know the songs! This mode will start with tips about warm ups, advancing to more challenging assignments that educate singers in how to control their voice and use it in a variety ways within a song. Demi Lovato gives the instruction and then provides users with the chance to try it for themselves.
